This is your guide to low-cost, high-taste eating in Little Rock.
We started this website because we love to try new places to eat around town. The problem is that we don’t have much money, so we can’t afford to waste time going to places with crappy food or bad service. We looked online to find reviews, but they were few and far between. We know that you are out there with the same frustration, so we decided to create the reviews for you.
We are two normal people who do not have a lot of time or money to frequent fancy, expensive restaurants. Ebony recently graduated college, while Mike still has a year to go. This means we have a limited budget, and this is reflected in our opinions of the cost for each restaurant. Most other restaurant reviews are meant for those who can afford to drop $100 on dinner and cocktails. That’s fine, but we want to write for the rest of us. We want to write for the college kids, the single mothers, the real people that keep the world running. This is why we write real reviews for real people.
Each restaurant that we visit gets reviewed on decor, cleanliness, service, cost, and of course, taste. If the restaurant has more than one location, then each location will receive it’s own review as we visit it. This is something we have decided up front because we noticed that locations vary in how they are run. We will describe the meals that we ate along with other favorites that we may have on their menu. Finally, we will give each restaurant an overall rating.
Choose the type of cuisine you are craving from the menu on the right to browse the restaurant reviews or use the search to read about a specific restaurant.

what kinda of joke website is this? i think most people know what to expect out of captain Ds or mcdonalds. if you really want to do a service to people why don’t you go to the NON-CHAIN places. you people sound like a bunch of idiots with too much time on your hands. maybe if you got a real job you could afford to eat at the better places in little rock.
There are plenty of non-chain restaurants that we have reviewed. We are also just getting started and have been running for less than a month. We are working on more places.
The goal of this site is not to give information about a restaurant chain in general, but about each location in particular. For instance, you may not know that the McDonald’s on Markham by Circuit City is a much better place to eat than the one on 12th and Kanis. That is why we review the chain restaurants.
For the record, we do have real jobs and we will be reviewing the more expensive (or better, as you call them) restaurants in Little Rock as time allows. This website is just a hobby. It is here as a way to help people decide where to eat. If you don’t like it, you can choose to not read it. Nobody forced you to read it. You can start your own and “show us how it’s done”. You could figure out something better to do with YOUR time than to go around writing comments on a website that you hate.

I actually love this site. Your reviews are great, very detailed, so a visitor will know exactly what to expect. And as for the comments by “leah” I actually appreciate the reviews of the chain restaurants. You guys should try Arkansas Burger Co on Cantrell for your burgers section. It has been in Southern Living Magazine and is soo good! It is not far from the Cantrell/Mississippi intersection. Thanks for giving us the heads-up on where to eat!
oh and you also gotta try Damgoode Pies on Cantrell. The pizza is awesome and the Razorback bread will make you fall out of your booth!
